ABA Advice Beyond Accounting was proud to sponsor the Lift the Lid Walk for Mental again in 2023.
Raise awareness on mental health
Rotary Clubs of Australian host the Lift the Lid Walk events in various locations across Australia. This national initiative aims to increase community awareness of mental health across Australia and brings communities together to walk and talk. Increasing physical health for mental health. This interaction helps to Lift the Lid on mental illness and encourage everyone to open up about their mental health challenges.
The walks raise much-needed money for mental health research. 100% of participants registration fees go into research funding through Australian Rotary Health.
Why does ABA walk for Mental Health?
ABA works closely with small to medium businesses and becomes a trusted partner in business and mental health. As accountants and business advisors, we are part of the highs and lows that our clients experience. We are trusted with sensitive financial information and from time to time, with the very personal emotional challenges that our clients face.
Independent of both family and work relationships, we can be a sounding board when our clients are having a tough time. That’s why we are proud to sponsor the Mooloolaba 2023 Lift the Lid Walk and bring attention to Mental Health.
